Yami is an african musician who has been living in Europe for more than 28 years. He has been working in several musical projects as a freelancer and playing with names of reference in the portuguese scene like Dulce Pontes, Carlos Do Carmo & Sara Tavares among others. Besides his career as a musician Yami started composing his own repertoire where elements of Portuguese soul and African Rhythms can be found. He also sings in his own Kimbundo dialect and Swahili Language .
